Our Story: From Fife to the World Stage
The Fife All Stars story is not one of chance, but of vision, dedication, and a relentless belief in the potential of young athletes across the Kingdom of Fife. It’s a story that began with a simple idea: to create a premier destination for American youth flag football that would rival any club in the UK, right here in Scotland.
Our journey started in August 2024. Founded on the principles of inclusivity, skill development, and sporting excellence, Fife All Stars was established to provide a fantastic, non-contact sporting opportunity for children and teens aged 9-17. From our very first training session at our modern indoor 3G facility in Glenrothes, our mission was clear: to build not just athletes, but confident, resilient, and team-oriented individuals.
The hard work of our founding players and our expert coaching team paid off almost immediately. In our first competitive season, our Under-17 team made a stunning impact on the national scene.
Proving their mettle against established teams, our U17s fought with heart and strategy to claim their first piece of silverware, announcing the All Stars as a serious new force in Scottish flag football.
We didn’t stop there. Our team went on to dominate the BAFA (British American Football Association) U17 Scottish League, securing the championship title. This incredible achievement cemented our reputation as the #1 youth flag football team in Fife and a leading name in Scotland.
While winning trophies was thrilling, our proudest achievements are the individual successes of our players. The talent and dedication honed on our training pitch in Glenrothes did not go unnoticed on the national stage.
In a landmark moment for our club, five of our outstanding U17 athletes successfully navigated the highly competitive GB Trials. Their selection for the national team was a testament to their personal commitment and the quality of our coaching programme here in Fife.
The culmination of this extraordinary journey came in September 2025, when these five players proudly wore the Team GB jersey at a major international tournament in Innsbruck, Austria. To see these young athletes from Dunfermline and across Fife competing at such a prestigious level was a dream realized. They were ambassadors for Fife All Stars and Scotland on a European stage.
